Invitation to the international conference on aquatic warbler conservation in Vilnius, Lithuania

The international conference on aquatic warbler conservation will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania on 12-14 November. The conference aims to exchange the latest information about globally threatened aquatic warbler population status, conservation strategies, challenges, and best practice conservation measures from habitat restoration, conservation translocation, to finding sustainable farming practices and nature-based solutions.

The conference will present major achievements of the LIFE MagniDucatusAcrola project as well as discuss future conservation perspectives through LIFE4AquaticWarbler, LIFE AWOM projects, and beyond within the whole species range.

The conference gathering in Vilnius will be an excellent networking opportunity, stimulating stronger cooperation and new conservation initiatives. It will gather aquatic warbler conservation specialists, NGOs, scientists, representatives from protected areas administrations, and competent authorities. For best networking and interaction possibilities we encourage participation in person (we expect up to 90 persons) but conference online streaming is also planned.
